Rediscover the 50's at Sallie's

Welcome to Sallie's. Here, you will be taken back in time to when Sallie Zimmerhackel from Denver, Colorado came to Denmark and decided to create a motel and snackbar in Albertslund. 65 years later, the concept was expanded, and we built our new restaurant in Taastrup on top of the world's largest indoor go-kart racetrack.

The menu provides milkshakes and burgers

Sallie served the very first cheeseburger in Denmark in the original Snack Bar - and the modern dishes from back then is now the foundation of our menu card. Here, you can get a delicious burger such as Sallie's Original Cheeseburger or the Art Ingels Cheeseburger as well as Sallie's Original Coffee Milkshake and a wide range of other new and original dishes.

Our menu is inspired by the American food culture in the 50's - homemade and tasty. Sallie's is not a classical American diner but much more. We are a popular choice among costumers all across Zealand. That is why we recommend that you book a table beforehand.

Inspiration from the USA in the 50's

The interior design is very special as well. We have recreated the milieu from back then, down to the very last detail - tables, chairs. tapestry, lamps, colors etc. At our place the line of design is not just a scenery. We believe in authenticity in everything we do. We create time pockets so that you may create new stories with those dear to you. In our restaurant there is room for personal presence and to enjoy each other's company while time stands still. Our employees do everything to make the right impressions so that you may have a unique experience.
